I have this idea that if a teacher who has never used task cards tries them, she will love them so much that she will simply have to get more. These 24 task cards feature 3 cards each for author's purpose, cause and effect, character traits, compare and contrast, details, inferences, main idea, and word meanings. I have these laminated in sets in my folders so i can easily set my groups doing different tasks. Would like to say they are all my ideas, but are collected from other’s similar ideas and i have just put them altogether on cards that can be printed out and laminated. Its quite colorful and the titles appear as if they were written using marker pens.
